What is Bard? Bard is Google’s experimental, conversational, AI chat service. It is meant to function similarly to ChatGPT, with the biggest difference being that Google’s service will pull all its information from the web.
The tech giant is currently putting their latest AI chat service through its paces with a select group of “trusted testers.”
However, there has been some controversy surrounding Bard’s recent launch.
As reported on PC Mag, a demo of the AI service delivered some inaccurate information, causing some controversy among tech enthusiasts.
While some have argued that Google’s presentation was rushed and all over the place, others have argued that Microsoft’s ChatGPT has nothing to worry about if that’s all Google has to offer, for now…
And the saga continues… According to CNBC, some employees have taken to the internal forum Memegen to express their dissatisfaction with the way the launch was handled.
What’s with the timing to unveil Google Bard now, you ask?
